| It's getting to be about that time. I feel like being able to stop my car. I don't know about the rest of you, but I hang out with some fast cars and I need to be able to hit the hooks when need be. Needless to say, I want to get other people involved if possible. Now, I don't need to do a group buy because I don't really need the hassle, but I figured I'd see what kind of interest we'll have here. So I'll give it a shot if you guys want. I'm going to list the options here and we should make a decision on what route to go. I'm already going to be in for 2 sets (two Z's). Anyway, here's the contenders... Russell's Wilwood kit This bad set of brakes will fit stock wheels, has a rear kit if you want, and it retains the e-brake function. It has 6-piston fronts and 12.5" rotors. It also seems that this kit has the cheapest replacement parts of them all (pads are like $85 for a pair). Russell hammers the hell out of these things and has done so for 2+ years without them flinching. Here's the pics on his car...thanks for the pics Russell!

You can see pics of the kit itself at rmshorsepower.com. Next, we have both the AP 4-piston and 6-piston. 13" rotors come with the 4-piston kit and massive 13.5" rotors with the 6-piston kit. These will not fit stock wheels.

Thanks for the pics, Kyle and Yuichi (StrictlyZ.com) Then we have the good old Brembo kit that has 4-piston calipers and 13.125" rotors. These will not fit stock wheels.
Thanks for the pic, Kyle! (SGP Racing) Then we have the good old Stoptechs. These are 4-piston calipers with 13" rotors. Here's a link on our friend Coz's site: Stoptechs There is a Wilwood kit on arizonazcar.com that is an option as well. It can be front and rear for a good price, but will NOT retain the parking brake...again, they don't fit stock wheels. Chip also had some Porsche brakes in the works, but I don't know the progress there. That would be a great cheap alternative to these kits. With all this being said, what do you guys think? Post here or e-mail me. Now, if you don't have the money, please don't waste my time. I know most of these vendors can do some deals for 5 kits I'm sure, and I'll probably be getting 2. So do the math. I don't want anyone who is not DEFINITELY interested. Post your opinions! :-) I plan on having this being a done deal in the next few weeks.
And to the vendors, I love all you guys. I've bought stuff from just about everyone here. Once we decide what we're going to do, the vendors will probably be limited at that point. If you guys want to sell me on a certain product, try me. :-) Boys, let's get busy!!!!!
